Including the corvette servo with the 4L60E transmission of your vehicle means you can expect something better with the performance while overdriving. And if your vehicle has come from the house of GM Company that comes with 4L60E transmission then it requires a corvette servo to get the best out of it. Equipped with an applied oil chamber that supplies the transmission oil with the support of the required pressure created by the transmission pump. A servo is a kind of device that can be added with the automatic transmission to promote the activity of the transmission. Transmission is an essential part of your vehicle’s engine system to keep the function of your vehicle better. It’s time to follow the prospects of corvette servo to find out the benefits. This is probably a unique thing that helps to improve the performance of your vehicle. For instance, 4L60E Corvette Servo is one of the most inexpensive and efficient upgrades for 4L60E transmission. No, it means a simple replacement or inclusion of any smaller tool with the system that improves the function of a machine. Upgrading a machine doesn’t mean changing the whole system or a process that requires a lot of money.
CORVETTE SERVO 4L60E TRANSMISSION UPGRADE
Here you can find the need to upgrade the machine so that it can provide you the same performance of its initial days. This certainly is not entertaining for you and it also makes you tired with time as well. It is very natural that repeating the same kind of work, again and again, can make the machine gradually losing its flexibility, strength, and rhythm. Well hope it helped to explain everything.Upgrading is a kind of process that every machine and tool needs for improving its performance. Good luck and let us know if ya have any other questions Well hope it helped to explain everything.
CORVETTE SERVO 4L60E TRANSMISSION MOD
One shop stated that if the customer had larger tires or did any pulling at all they installed the corvette servos on their rebuilds without even telling the customer because the mod improved performance and reduced heat leading to a longer life expectancy of the tranny. Why increase the pressure when I could do the mod myself and have a beefier servo? So I took this route.Īll shops agreed that the stock servo was inferior and served to create additional heat leading to in some cases a premature failure and lack of performance. I know some guys that compensated for the stock servo by jacking the hydraulic pressure on a tune but I'm a meat and potatoes guy. Combine the servo with a custom tune and you have a real winner. When I get into it I can definitely feel a harder shift. There are two types of servos typically swapped in- one being a stock corvette servo, the other an aftermarket or billet servo with yet an even larger surface area (JET is one example of a manufacturer of these servos) I personally went with the corvette servo because I didn’t want really hard shifts when tooling around with the family.LOL so I went with the corvette servos and not the pins. By speeding up the duration of the shift there is less slippage and in turn less heat, this modification also improves how much the servo holds the shift band (larger surface area of the servo). (NOTE: This does not change the shift point just the actual duration of the shift). This will be the first thing that actually improves the shift. This servo is easy to get to, being that it is accessible from the outside of the transmission, so I don't have to keep breaking open the pan over and over. I am no transmission guy by any means but I called several shops and asked questions regarding the 4L60 transmission and the advantages of installing the corvette servos.
